SOLD I have one of my own builds for sale on behalf of a customer whose circumstances have changed . It was built in 2018 on a 2012 Citroen Relay and now has circa 114,000 on the clock . A MUCH LOVED BOX NOW READY TO BE VIEWED WITH ME IN BRISTOL ( 12th October 2024) I am winding down on the sale of secondhand boxes and concentrating on my new builds however I am making an exception for this one which belongs to a customer who has just bought a new build from me . When I was dealing in secondhand boxes I would literally race across the country to buy one of these builds . This box was built by TRU LEISURE in 2008 and bought by me in 2010. Since then it has had two owners . These were very much "high end " builds and with the judicious use of aluminium (as opposed to cutting down on weight in critical places ) they are one of the very few well built boxes which achieve a genuine payload of 1.2 ton . 2003 plate Converted in 2008 Now 105k miles driving superbly with a cab in great condition which is consistent with the whole history of this box . ANOTHER RACEMASTER ! AND AT THE RISK OF REPEATING MYSELF "AD NAUSEAM" I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THE STRENGTH AND LONGEVITY OF THE RACEMASTER BUILD . This is one I sold the current owners some six years ago Built on a 53 plate Movano it has incredibly low and genuine mileage (circa 62k) It also benefits from the extras my husband added for the previous sale . These include the jump barrier , bite board , partition padding and hook back when loading . It has benefited from a respray since I sold it previously and has new board and matting on the ramp .
