Safety Devices

As most of you will know I believe that the best safety device for keeping your horse safe in a stationary box is not to leave him/her unattended! However I do understand that in some circumstances this is unavoidable.

For sometime now we have been fitting weave grids on breast partitions for customers and these have proved to be a sufficient deterrent to the average horse.

For the determined escapologist these may not be enough, indeed with a flighty, nervous horse they could cause more injury.

We now offer to make and fit a jump barrier to any box. These are designed to fold into a number of positions so they do not have to intrude into the groom's area when the box is stationary.

We also sell a few boxes with a seperate horse area and in these we can make up a plate so houdini doesn't get the idea that he could slip into that small space between breast partition and personnel door.

Whatever your concerns, whatever your horse's quirks you can discuss them with us and we can suggest a solution.
