NEW BUILD ON A LWB 2010 chassis circa 75,000 miles
With the price of second hand horseboxes soaring why not consider a new build for under £20,000?
The next one to go in build is the 2010 chassis Movano with 75,000 miles on the clock.
Build time is around six weeks .
These boxes are built with safety in mind .
They offer a horse area separated from the groom's part by two full height doors and this coupled with a wide back door and a breast partition that can be opened up means they do offer a genuine second exit.
The head and neck area is bridged with a removable piece which makes it impossible for the horse to get himself into "trouble"
There are plenty of opening windows and two roof vents making the horse area light, well ventilated and inviting .
Very light aluminium planked ramp , barn doors above , load guide gates , adjustable central partition with integral bite board, fibre glass tanked floor to protect the steel base , two external lockers and of course re enforcement in the critical places .

SOLD I have one of my own builds for sale on behalf of a customer whose circumstances have changed . It was built in 2018 on a 2012 Citroen Relay and now has circa 114,000 on the clock . A MUCH LOVED BOX NOW READY TO BE VIEWED WITH ME IN BRISTOL ( 12th October 2024) I am winding down on the sale of secondhand boxes and concentrating on my new builds however I am making an exception for this one which belongs to a customer who has just bought a new build from me . When I was dealing in secondhand boxes I would literally race across the country to buy one of these builds . This box was built by TRU LEISURE in 2008 and bought by me in 2010. Since then it has had two owners . These were very much "high end " builds and with the judicious use of aluminium (as opposed to cutting down on weight in critical places ) they are one of the very few well built boxes which achieve a genuine payload of 1.2 ton . 2003 plate Converted in 2008 Now 105k miles driving superbly with a cab in great condition which is consistent with the whole history of this box . ANOTHER RACEMASTER ! AND AT THE RISK OF REPEATING MYSELF "AD NAUSEAM" I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THE STRENGTH AND LONGEVITY OF THE RACEMASTER BUILD . This is one I sold the current owners some six years ago Built on a 53 plate Movano it has incredibly low and genuine mileage (circa 62k) It also benefits from the extras my husband added for the previous sale . These include the jump barrier , bite board , partition padding and hook back when loading . It has benefited from a respray since I sold it previously and has new board and matting on the ramp .
